Extension Cord Hangers & Clips
thingiverse
I built some simple brackets and clips to hang my extension cords. They are designed for 16 gauge cords, so if you have thinner cords, the clips might not stay in place. The cord in the picture is a 50-foot long one, so if you have a shorter cord, it will probably fit better on the bracket than mine did. The brackets attach to your wall studs with two screws each. I used #8 screws that were 1 1/2" long, but they barely fit through the holes. If you need to use wider screws, just let me know and I'll make the holes bigger for you. Alternatively, you can drill out the holes yourself if needed. I printed these brackets at 50% infill, which is fine for most cords, but my 50-foot cord put a lot of pressure on them and bent them slightly. To avoid this, I recommend printing with at least 75% infill or even 100%. If you're careful not to wrap your cords too tightly around the brackets, 50% infill will be sufficient.
