We have designed this component to protect electrical connections. It snaps around the point where two cords come together. This also eliminates shorting out and the chore of reconnecting cords that have been accidentally pulled apart. One of the challenges that market extension cord covers faces is that they do not fit all sizes of extension cords securely, so creating an extension cord cover with 3d printing gives us this opportunity to produce them in low volume with different sizes without any needs for tooling and molds.
