This is a glass vessel stand extension attachment for the EasyMax 402 from METTLER TOLEDO. the EasyMax does not come with a stand to place the lid with the stirrer attached, it can only be laid down as is. In this situation, fragile instruments such as glass thermometers could break or the top stopper could come off. This attachment allows the Teflon lid to be placed with the stirrer, thermometer, or other equipment still attached.
