Arithmetic Spinner, Math Spinner, Math Wand, Snap Spinner, Extensible The arithmetic spinner is not an educator, but it may inspire children to ponder mathematics and pose questions such as "What does that mod function accomplish?" or "Is it acceptable if I say 5 + 3 > -20?" It could be utilized as a random problem generator. Children prefer problems with tangible components. By employing snapping structures, I have devised a method for creating an extendable arithmetic spinner or math wand. There are four types of rings, each with a diameter of 25mm and a width of 10mm: Digits (0-9), Arithmetic operators (+, -, ×, ÷, mod). Modular arithmetic is a significant concept. It simply means retaining the remainder. For example, 15 mod 7 = 1. Relational operators (=, ≠, <, ≤, >, ≥) Signs (+, -, blank/unsigned) Cap 1, optional. Cap 2, optional. One can print multiple sets, mix and match, and create extremely long number sentences such as ### × ## = ##### or ## × # + # = ###. The end caps are optional. Please be very cautious not to harm fingers when snapping rings together. Gloves are recommended. To remove a ring after assembly, please use a flat-end screwdriver and slowly pry it off. Have fun and assist kids in doing some math!
