Extending Tube

A single-print tube, extendable with ease: twist and push to secure it in place. To use, print, stretch, twist, and lock; avoid printing tapered versions, though! For a fix, download TaperedExtendingTube1, my previous design's improved version. This project tested the limits of one-piece printing while moving parts freely, with minimal post-print cleanup. The SCAD file includes tube module customizations: adjust tubeOuterRadius (40, 35, 30, 25, or 20), tubeHeight (30-90mm), and tubeCount (1-6 depending on radius) for your needs. Be warned that the center tube may move during printing due to poor cooling, making smaller tubes tricky. Thanks to Zomboe for suggesting a tapered version, yet-to-be-printed! Lastly, an update: a tapered version is now available for simplified locking mechanisms. Happy printing!
