I designed these z-axis extension brackets specifically for my i3 3D printer, built by Folgertech, allowing me to run Amadon's dual extruder design without any frame contact. Minor light filing may be necessary for easy snap-together assembly, as they are precision-matched for perfect fitment. Combined with a 25% infill rate using the honeycomb pattern and print settings of 90mm/sec for the perimeter speed and 45mm/sec for smaller perimeters along with 80mm/sec infull speeds, you can anticipate around 8-10 hours total print time. Print one of these upper extender brackets as a mirror duplicate to create a perfectly mirrored counterpart.
