I fitted the original threaded dust filter perfectly onto the filament guide I'd previously attached to my Eder 3, but the extra space for the guide meant that the inner part didn't quite reach the bottom of the outer. To fix this issue, I extended the thread by 7mm, which allowed it to screw in snugly without leaving a gap at the bottom.
