Extended Spoolholders for the FAbtotum with innerstops
thingiverse
This object carries out precisely the same operation as its original counterpart. It has been modified in order to: The holes on both ends are enlarged by a millimeter, allowing easy insertion of bearings without having to manipulate them excessively. A sturdier wall design was added for enhanced robustness; I actually broke one of my original PLA-made ones, so it proved to be necessary. Increasing the wall thickness significantly improves print quality when using ABS plastic (the black object in the photo was printed with this material), as most seam lines get absorbed within the infill structure (visible as that black line). Any remaining lines do not compromise its functionality at all (it functions properly!). If I had to recreate this design from scratch, I would definitely opt for it despite using more filament. A compatible ABS G-code file, designated 230/90, is also included with the original text.
