Extended Shoe Clip for Aeroband Pocket Guitar

Extended Shoe Clip for Aeroband Pocket Guitar

thingiverse

The original clip won't stay put on the shoe due to its short length, causing the pocket guitar sensor to vibrate excessively and triggering multiple unwanted bass drum kicks in the process. To make matters worse, the original clip attaches to the back of the shoe rather than the front where motion can be more easily detected by the sensor. This extended clip is designed to be longer and wider, allowing it to securely fasten onto the shoe or slipper from the front where its sensor can detect movement with greater ease. To further ensure a secure fit, you can use a rubber piece to attach the clip in place. Two versions of this extended clip have been uploaded online for your reference. The first version is slightly too thin and may not provide the level of stability you need. In contrast, the second version is thicker and offers more support, with an added benefit of allowing you to secure the back of the clip using a rubber band. The clips were printed with 100% fill ABS material, but it's unclear whether they would be too rigid if made from PLA plastic. Feel free to try out the thinner version and see how it works for your needs.
