Extended Raspberry Pi + Adafruit LCD Case
thingiverse
Enhancing Jeremy Blum's ingenious Raspberry Pi case, this version boasts a lid accommodating the Adafruit 16x2 character LCD. It offers a better fit for the device and safeguards the RCA and audio jacks (though it may obstruct the RCA, untested). Moreover, I intend to offer options for the button panel, such as a solid cover or flip-back lid. Included is a .Thing file pre-plated for ease of use, with tolerance for various layer heights. Assemble by press-fitting the LCD into the top half and the Raspberry Pi into the lower half before aligning and joining them. Be cautious with the GPIO pins! Future improvements include adding bolt holes for enhanced stability.
