Extended (Micro) SD Card Reader
cults3d
I was all set to give one of Thingiverse's flash card slot extenders a try. But when I got the oversized card reader and ribbon cable from eBay, I was surprised by its enormity. Fortunately, I had some spare SD card adapters kicking around that made it useful in no time. As it turns out, having the larger, more substantial package as a transport between laptop and printer has been a blessing. The challenge at hand was to come up with an original minimal bracket to firmly attach the 50x35x10mm reader to the top of my printer. I designed this one using the existing top LHS structural screw - the top RHS screw holds my trusty Anet A8 tool card, which I got from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4072997).
