Extended high flow fan duct for Anet A8 with autolevel sensor
cults3d
This is version 2: The distance to the nozzle has been reduced, and airflow in that direction has decreased significantly. This optimized duct maximizes air flow and compensates for the additional distance between fan and nozzle due to the autolevel sensor support found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1911146 Without this sensor support, the duct might collide with the nozzle. The design is straightforward and uncomplicated, making it easy to print without needing supports. The overhangs are limited to 45 degrees, and a flat area at the bottom serves as the base for printing. A 2.5mm hole has been added to cut a M3 thread for a small bolt to keep everything in place. The cross-sectional area of this duct is substantially larger than the original stock duct. Due to the high temperature near the nozzle, it's best printed with ABS.
