I am using extender brackets for my 11 1/8" x 6 7/8" glass bed plate which measures exactly 282.57mm by 174.62mm in size. These upgraded brackets plus a larger glass bed allowed me to fit significantly more items in my Flashforge printer. To date, I've only had to use half a spool of filament and get the correct sizing just right, something I'd been unable to accomplish with the original brackets from my CTC Pro, even when paired with the exact same size glass bed. That was because the Creator Pro features a significantly thicker bed plate that I had to take into account. When making the measurements for this project, I consulted both Maker111's model and EagleSeven's expert analysis on how to best adapt the existing glass plate. As clearly shown in my fourth and fifth photographs, this simple upgrade doubled my printing capacity, enabling me to produce a whole additional base plate at once – moving from just two base plates to an impressive four. In order to get the best results out of this setup, it's crucial to remember that you should use shims for your glass bed and be extremely cautious when placing end stops in your slicer, since these models are quite lengthy and won't print much beyond a certain point on the Y-axis. Don't forget that attention to detail is essential here. Many thanks go out to Maker111 for developing this original design, and also to EagleSeven who made the necessary measurements so that I could integrate it seamlessly with my new glass bed plate. Here are the exact settings I used: Printer: Flashforge Rafts: Not Needed Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% Notes: I strongly recommend printing this design out and securing the brackets to your existing heated bed screws at the corner of the heated plate as depicted. Ensure top two mounts are for the upper left & right, while lower two for bottom left & right corners.
