Extended Cooling Tray / Duct for 3DUpfitters Ender 5 Enclosure
thingiverse
This is an extended cooling tray for the 3DUpfitters Ender 5 enclosure. -This tray properly reaches the power supply's cooling fan from underneath without cutting part of it off like the stock tray does -With the stock cooling tray, the printer has to be moved all the way to the front of the enclosure for the tray to cover most of the PSU fan -With this extended version, the machine can be comfortably placed at the center of the enclosure, and the cooling tray will properly cover the entire circumference of the PSU fan. Printing Instructions: -This tray just about reaches the maximum length that you can possibly print on an Ender 5. In order to print this, you need to make sure you have at least 220.5mm of travel on either axis. The Ender 5 will actually travel 230mm along the x-axis with the stock printhead (as well as any low profile printhead with no interference), so as long as your firmware is properly calibrated for maximum build dimensions, you should be able to print this cooling tray. Also be sure to avoid using a "skirt" for adhesion in your slicer, as this will take up even more space on the build plate.
