Extendable Shoe Rack

This is an accessible project designed to create a practical and visually appealing shoe rack using budget-friendly materials. The sole contribution from 3D printing technology is a customized clip used for binding everything together. Transparency note: the idea was not original; similar projects can be found online, and this project merely puts my own creative spin on the concept. What makes this DIY endeavor enjoyable is its simplicity, affordability, and playful aesthetic. It's a straightforward, no-nonsense approach that still manages to evoke an emotional connection through its visually appealing design. Materials Needed The project uses concrete forming tubes, chosen for their adaptability and widespread availability. To achieve a perfect fit, compare individual tubes carefully before selecting the ones you need. Sometimes, several rounds of searching are required to find the right ones, but it's worth the effort in the end. To securely attach these tubes together, office supply binder clips do an excellent job without needing any special modifications or adaptations. I also wanted to match my chosen tubes by adding clip accessories. Since plain white office supplies weren't available easily enough for the project I envisioned, 3D printing became a convenient option. The process was smooth; attaching and matching each piece with ease due to using specially created 3D models designed for seamless integration into the rest of my shoe rack setup. Instructions To kick-start this simple DIY task: 1. Start by cutting concrete forming tubes to about 1 foot in length - preferably using a saw blade on a hand-operated bandsaw as an initial tool of choice due its accuracy compared against common manual blades; but note it wasn't fun using carpentry's basic sharp-edged saw for those hard metal edges that didn't quite fit with rest easy cut pieces so make use of best handy power available here to speed your pace cutting these solid long ones then, afterwards trim them just right in few smooth even precise slices with little trouble thanks its easier to go down to less precise edge trimming step with no problems whatsoever now get back those newly-cut straight edges on track nice.
