Expo Marker and Spray holder for Quartet Magnetic Boards
thingiverse
I discovered several excellent expo marker holders on Thingverse, but none that perfectly fit the Quartet Magnetic glass whiteboards or accommodated small expo spray bottles, so I designed this one in Tinkercad. It securely holds four expo markers, a compact bottle of expo spray cleaner, and features a recess for a 12mm (1/2") magnet to attach a wiping towel. My daughter skillfully sewed a magnet into the corner of a towel for me, allowing it to be easily hung from the magnetic glass whiteboard. This design includes a 5mm wide slot for effortless placement on the magnetic glass whiteboard and recesses for four additional 12mm magnets on the back, providing flexibility to move it around on the front of the board. However, these are not necessary for mounting on the whiteboard. I printed several of these for various company offices in PLA at a 30% infill rate, .2mm resolution, and 60mm/s speed. Although they turned out solid, you may be able to achieve similar results with lower infill rates. After producing about ten of these for the office, I received feedback regarding the number of markers held and the smoothness of the clips. In response, I updated the original file and created a new 6 marker version.
