The EPL-16BS-1X150LED-300 is an explosion proof LED light from Larson Electronics rated Class I Division 1-2 Groups C & D and Class II Division 1-2. It features a 16 inch Cree LED light head that produces 17,500 lumens while drawing only 150 watts. The portable LED light is mounted on a four leg aluminum base and covers up to 10,000 square feet with its brilliant flood pattern of light. It's often referred to as a "tank light" due to its ability to pass through manholes in petrochemical containers and ship storage tanks. The LED light head can be adjusted up or down 90 degrees and the unit comes with 300 feet of SOOW cord for flexible positioning. The LED light head features multiple LED drivers, increasing operational life, and each individual LED board has an individual driver to minimize failure impact. The light offers three beam angles - 60° for confined spaces, 125° for general area work, and 140° for close-proximity lighting. Unlike traditional lamps, LED lights have no filaments or fragile housings, providing a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source. The explosion proof LED light operates at a lower surface temperature than traditional light sources, reducing the burn risk and fire hazard.
