The EXPCMR-ALG-1080P-1227 is a high definition analog camera from Larson Electronics designed for remote observation in hazardous locations. This explosion proof inspection camera provides 1080p resolution and is available with fixed lens configurations, including a 3.6mm 90° lens to capture wide areas. It can be used to observe workplaces such as tanks, reactors or vessels from a centralized control room, allowing operators to see visual process data in real-time while saving time, money and improving workplace safety. The camera features an infrared LED array for low light and nighttime visibility with up to 50' of visibility in the dark. Its day/night infrared cutoff filter creates crisp, sharp images that transmit with zero latency to HD resolution via metal clad coax cable to customer provided remote mount DVR systems. The camera has a pressure-resistant 316 stainless steel body and weighs under 4.5 pounds. It features 1 lux sensitivity, a 2-wire transmitter, polished stainless steel mounting bracket, built-in color CCD camera and a 1/3" CCD sensor. The lens has a viewing angle between 28° and 60° with a minimum lens to object distance of 3.15 inches. Wiring is achieved via customer provided coax cable with BNC connector through a 3/4" NPT, which runs back to the customer provided DVR system mounted outside the hazardous location. The power supply for the camera can be terminated through terminal strips within the camera and operates on universal voltage of 120/240V AC 50/60 Hz. Mounting is typically done on flat surfaces using an adjustable flat surface bracket, with accessory pole mounts and magnetic mounts available as options. The EXPCMR-ALG-1080P-1227 is suitable for vessel, tank and reactor monitoring, remote observation of external facilities, and monitoring of cleaning, spray patterns, mixing, foaming, reaction, and level.
