Exploration Vehicle - Bird Mech

The primary objective of this project centered around crafting a vehicle within an 8000-10,000 polygon range. Following multiple design iterations, the final product evolved into a highly experimental mech, incorporating bird-like features such as reverse-jointed legs and small "wings" positioned on either side of the main cabin. I aimed to push the boundaries by utilizing a monochromatic color palette that effectively complements the speckled metal material. Additionally, extensive work was invested in the normal map to create realistic metal seams and rivets throughout the vehicle's surface. The project involved 3D modeling in Maya and texture painting in Substance Painter.
