In preparation for Valentine's Day, here's an improved heart design inspired by Greg Frost's work with openSCAD primitives. This new version uses Taubin's equation and can be incorporated into creative Valentine's mashup designs. The heart measures 100x100x60mm; if you encounter issues with rendering or skeining, consider reducing the mesh in a program like Meshlab. I've also included the Matlab script used to generate this heart, and remember to download the surf2stl script from the Matlab file exchange for optimal modeling results.
