Experimental Stealth Aircraft

Experimental Stealth Aircraft

thingiverse

This is an experimental stealth aircraft. Scaled roughly to 1/72 - it may need splitting to print (I would split down the middle to detail the cockpit, and then fill once glued back together) Low observable shape with buried engines and a single outlet. This aircraft has advanced features and is capable of refuelling in flight. It utilises a datalink system and other satellite tech - note the various bulges on the top surface. It is a subsonic design - supersonic flight is not required for the stealthy mission profile. Variable weapons/equipment fit mean that it can operate as a strategic bomber, strike aircraft, or recon/ISTAR platform. If you choose to detail the cockpit with other parts (eg out of a spares box), then it is easy to remove the interior using a hot blade (take care!!) I'd love to see any finished models - I'll be printing, building and detailing in due course! Happy Printing!! EDIT 1: Further file added - re-profiled the rear end, new turbines, new exhaust, and corrected a few gaps. Re-profiled trailing edge. Windows moved slightly to align better (may need a tiny bit of adjustment post printing). Would recommend using a bit of filler to smooth any flat sculpted sections. EDIT 2 - now on the B3 version of the stealth bomber - (heavily modified from this). Search for "Ghost B3 stealth bomber"
