Worth noting, this design isn't intended for Prusa-style printers. Those models typically feature 50mm distance between rods. If there's interest in creating a 50mm version, I'll release it separately. Let me know in the comments if that's something you're interested in. 2013-12-03 Added Wire Plug, reinforced fan mounting plate, integrated ribs into bearing channels, expanded belt hole diameter, and included a trap for M3 nuts to prevent them from falling off. This is a lightweight nozzle shuttle designed specifically for use with Bowden-Cable extruder systems. The LM6UU bearings are spaced 28mm apart. A wire plug has been added, which incorporates vias made from 2mm and 3mm copper tubes to provide secure crimp/solder connections for the hot end and thermistor. The wire plug is still a work in progress, as it requires expansion to accommodate connectors for the fan and possibly an LED light. Additionally, the plug is being developed into a clamp for the Bowden cable. Holding back this advancement is my current lack of information on what this clip should resemble. Once that's determined, the plug will feature screws on both sides of the J-Head.
