Experimental Iphone 6 Nodal Point Adapter for Spherical Panorama with 1/4" Tripod Screw Support
thingiverse
This is primarily an idea for a nodal point adapter specifically designed for iPhone 6 users. The adapter hasn't been thoroughly tested yet, but it's intended to be a fun project. To rotate the iPhone 6 horizontally, simply turn the lower part of the adapter. For vertical rotations, loosen the screws and tighten them at a specific angle. Markings are provided every 30 degrees for precise positioning. Some components need to be glued together after printing; superglue is recommended, but use it carefully due to its potential strength. Movable parts have been designed with a deliberate gap of 0.1mm between them. Please note that this adapter is purely experimental and comes with no warranty regarding functionality or safety. The provided STL files don't include print settings, but the parts are oriented as they should be printed. Some components may require minor support during printing due to their complex geometry. For parts with screw holes, it's suggested to use a layer height of 0.06mm for optimal results.
