Experimental Delta/Rocstock Extruder with Platform
thingiverse
This is a remix of the first Platform mounted Extruder on a Delta/Rostock. The original design was solid, but I encountered difficulty accessing the filament in the J-Head/E3D heads. After conducting research, I discovered www.thingiverse.com/thing:1268424 and adapted those parts to suit my needs. 7-9-2017: I've just finalized a new version ready for testing. So far, it has performed flawlessly without any additional vibrations or movements. The platform remains level and does not overload the extruder platform. A compact Nema 17 motor from my TronXY X1 Printer was used in this design. I've also included a video of the printing process at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MJpBtYwjeI&t=8s, which jumps between clips but showcases the final outcome. The results look impressive, although I still need to refine the mount for optimal performance.
