Experimental Cupcake CNC Sequential Build Platform
thingiverse
This experimental concept replaces the y-stage of a CNC with a stepper-driven conveyor belt, moving during build and ejecting parts post-build. Currently, it's just a concept; no 3D printer or laser cutter exists. Designed for user feedback, improvements are welcome, particularly regarding conveyor and timing belt routing. The conveyor is made of taped baking parchment, capable of withstanding high temperatures. A print bed lined with parchment could be tested by users. Rollers with O-rings grip the parchment, though a tensioner may be needed. Most parts can be printed on a Cupcake CNC, except large side and build stage components. Necessary files are provided, and assembly drawing corrections are upcoming.
