I designed the robot's body with added features to enable experimentation, including a Nano Expansion Prototype Shield I/O, a Micro-switch on-off 8mm x 8mm, and HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sonar Distance Sensors. The square battery holders for 4 x AAA batteries fit snugly between the board and the sonar sensor. Four AAA NiMh batteries provide enough power to drive all components.
