The concept behind this innovative dart cup is to maintain the dart's horizontal alignment as it gains speed upon exiting the gun. Typically, the dart tilts towards one side, resulting in the head grazing the barrel's interior surface during its departure. This design aims to keep the dart straight, minimize air leakage around the dart, and incidentally function like a traditional fletch while in mid-air. I can provide access to OpenJSCAD upon request.
