An innovative experiment involves Grasshopper, a parametric modeling add-on for Rhino, which generates an exclusive surface. So far, only a thin-walled 3D print has been created without casting. If you can manage it, print with zero infill and double-layered walls; reinforcing it with ribs may be necessary to prevent deformation later on.
