I built a change box for my 2017 Ford Expedition to put an end to digging through the cluttered dash cubby hole. To install it, I had to remove the small rubber pad at the bottom of the cubby hole. The cubby hole's rearward tilt keeps the box securely in place most of the time. However, if you pull the box out too quickly, there's a risk of dropping it.
