Expanding Spool Holder Hub

This ingenious spool holder employs a screw mechanism to unfurl into the hub of the filament roll, firmly securing it from within. The hub can then be bolstered by a slender metal rod (less than 6 mm in diameter), which is, in turn, stabilized by the inverted forks mounted atop the printer. This setup could also be adapted for use with a freestanding support if desired. By supporting the spool at its center, smoother filament delivery is ensured, rendering obsolete the annoying spool rocking that often occurs during retraction-heavy prints. While there are more straightforward methods of achieving this goal, I simply wanted to experiment with this concept.
