Expanded Socket Pal

Expanded Socket Pal

thingiverse

This is an expanded version of The Socket Pal by TheTinkerGuy. The original version sizing was a bit off for the socket set I owned, plus I had both a 3/8 inch drive and a 1/4 drive metric socket set that I wanted to put together perfectly. This version holds a total of 20 sockets (one set of ten sockets in 3/8" drive and a second set of ten in 1/4" drive). I included the Fusion 360 file used in designing the file, which does include user parameters to adjust each socket size to fit the outside diameter of your own set. Socket #1 was the biggest and goes down in size order from there, allowing for easy identification. I also included parameters for setting the spacing of the two rows and compensating for printing differences. While you can tweak these figures for your own use, the model is not perfectly linked so elements of it could break and require tweaking to work depending on what changes are made.
