Expandable Steel Sheet Holder Adapter for Lack Enclosure Drawers

Enjoying your Lack Enclosure Drawers from Jerrari, but also think Whity's Expandable Steel Sheet Holder looks real cool? Why choose one when you can have both!Prints as right and left brackets that mount to the A1/R1 versions of the drawer cases. The profile matches up with the steel sheet holder, but only goes as far back as the drawer cases for additional securing points in the back.It can be mounted in the center of the drawers for a centered look, but will not allow stacking of drawers. Alternatively, it can be aligned left most drawer, allowing a single R2 drawer to be stacked on the right side. The adapter uses nut slots, rather than holes, so that it may be adjusted to the exact spacing of your Lack drawers.Print Instructions:Recommended to print with the same materials and settings as the Expandable Steel Sheet holder for a more seamless look. Print with the nut slots facing up, no support material needed.Installation Instructions:Use 3x M2x8 countersunk screws on each adapter to attach it to the bottom of the drawers. You will need to feed in M2 nuts prior to installing the drawers, as mentioned in Jerrari's instructions. You will also need to load half of the M3 nut slots with M3 nuts before attaching the adapter. You must use the mounting points in the drawers that are spaced 3 drawers apart.M2x6 screws might work, but I had difficulty getting the nuts to screw on.See the bottom view picture (4th image) for details on which holes you will be using to attach the adapter to the drawers.Use 2x M3x15 countersunk screws with nuts to mount each half of the steel sheet holder to the adapter.Note that the back mounting points of the sheet holder will not be secured to the table, so you must use M3x10 screws to hold them together.Follow Whity's instructions for how to prepare the holder stacking holders later.Once the first layer of the sheet holder is in, use the slots in the mounting nuts to align the adapter and properly space them so your steel sheets fit, but don't fly out.The holder will no longer be adjustable once a second layer is attached. Then stack sheet holders as you see fit, following Whity's instructions.NOTE: These adapters will not work with the A2/R2 version or non stackable versions of the drawer case. Also, they are designed for the MK3 versions of the drawers and sheet holder, not the Mini versions. I have uploaded the STEP files in case anyone would like to remix a Mini version.
