Expandable Stackable Drawer Cabinet
thingiverse
I spent a long time searching for the perfect cut-down drawer-based storage cabinet. I needed it mainly to store my knives and wanted it to be expandable as required. None of the drawer cabinets I found met all my specifications. I wanted it to be larger than 350mm to accommodate bowies. I also wanted it to be stackable, with the ability to add more stacks as needed. So, I built this. It's a multi-part stackable cabinet, where the base can become the top section when you've added enough sections. Each section is a complete unit that fits on top of the previous one or the base. Currently, I have four sections completed without using any glue. The structure should be able to support as many sections as needed, with each additional section resting on top of the previous one. I'm confident it will hold at least eight to ten sections. I made mine from 3mm MDF. The space is 390mm by 290mm and increases by 70mm per added section. The drawer is 50mm high.
