Originally, a rotating ball maze idea emerged during the designing of playthings for visually impaired individuals. The maze layers rotate, making holes align sequentially for the ball to pass through. Since visual cues are absent, players must listen to the ball's movement within the structure. Maze ends serve as cage-like compartments with sized holes to retain the ball while allowing tactile exploration. The objective is to guide the ball from one end to another by rotating layers correctly. However, this concept remains untested through 3D printing and depends on accurate connector tolerances.
