Expandable Eurorack Rails (improved tolerances)
thingiverse
The original version of these rails had no accounting for tolerances. Even with a well-tuned printer, it was quite difficult to get any M3 nut (square or otherwise) to slide into the rail. It took several hours of filing and sanding to make enough room in the 36hp rails, and even then the nuts bind up often. For this version, the rail clearance is increased to the point where nuts slide in easily with no post-processing.The oval peg and hole are unchanged; these could also benefit from clearance, but also can be fixed much more easily with some light sanding. Using Cura's 'Exclusive' slicing tolerance setting can also help.
