Exocet Dashpod Evolution
thingiverse
This is an evolution of my original dashpod, driven by experiences gained from installing the original. Aesthetically, it's a bit more rounded, but several other significant changes are worth noting. - Mounting holes for the face have been enlarged to accommodate M5 screws with M5 brass screw-to-expand threaded inserts inserted into the pod's body. - The rear opening for the cable run has been expanded and modified to accept a Tyco Electronics circular panel connector. A Series 1, Shell Size 17, 16 position receptacle kit is specified for this application. - I had to perform extensive grinding on the first version of the pod due to clearance issues with bolts holding the steering rack in place; this updated design takes these factors into account more effectively.
