Exit assembly for extruder

Designed and printed an adapter for extruder adapter for my Anycubic Vyper 3D Printer.

This printer was modified from a Bowden Tube filament system to a Direct Drive system.

The extruder was moved from the side of the machine to the top of the hotend assembly (where the filament gets heated and pushed out of the nozzle.

To do this modification the extruder runs the filament in reverse through the extruder. As Price sang in a purple beret, in through the outdoor, out through the indoor.

The adapter for the extruder to attach to the printhead assembly base plate, was designed ok, but not great, so I will be using CAD programs to redesign it, it currently flexes a bit, and looks, pedestrian.

So this is step one in the process of designing a stronger, and more intimate connection to the hotend.

Designed the adapter was designed in an online CAD application called Onshape (onshape.com), a free hobby account.

Sliced with Cura slicer free. I think it is the best slicer I have used so far.

Printed in with a black PLA.

The original extruder adapter: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5110857
