This is an exhaust adapter I designed specifically for my CNC machine. A dust boot on the CNC directs debris towards a Dirt Deputy, which in turn sends it to a Vacuum system. To eliminate interior air contamination, I needed a way to vent outside; therefore, I created this exhaust adapter to connect the 2.25 inch vacuum outlet to a four-inch flexible exhaust hose that hooks up to a high-powered 650 cfm inline fan. This fan expels the air through a dryer vent I installed outside, effectively keeping the workshop area clean and free of dust particles. The setup can be adapted for various purposes as well.
