Exhale Valve Deflector for 3M 6300 Halfmask
thingiverse
I'm wearing a 3M 6300 Halfmask during the Covid-19 crisis. The exhale valve on my halfmask enables me to disperse droplets efficiently, prompting me to design a simple cover that deflects breath downward and minimizes droplet dispersal - it functions similarly to a surgical mask positioned in front of my halfmask, but is less cumbersome. This cover also reduces the likelihood of external droplets contaminating my exhale valve. This is my initial attempt. I hope you appreciate it. The design requires three printed parts and four small screws for assembly (diameter 3mm - length 11mm). I plan to release a version two with alternative joints that don't necessitate screws as soon as it's ready. I'm thrilled with the outcome of this project, my first in Fusion 360. Please offer feedback so I can improve - I'm eager to refine my skills! Stay safe.
