Exercise: Modelling a Wheel

I submit my proposal for modeling a wheel, a fundamental component of various machines and devices that rotate on an axis, allowing for efficient transmission of power and motion. The wheel's design has been refined over centuries, with its earliest known forms dating back to ancient civilizations in Mesopotamia around 4000 BC. Wheels have played a crucial role in the development of transportation, from carts and chariots to modern vehicles like cars and bicycles. They are also found in industrial machinery, such as conveyor belts and printing presses. The wheel's simplicity and versatility make it an essential element in many technologies, facilitating smooth movement and reducing friction.
