Exercise Bike Timer Holder
prusaprinters
Our very basic exercise bike has no timer, so this is a simple clamp to hold a kitchen timer. The clamp is secured with a VELCRO® brand One-Wrap® thin cable tie. As designed, the clamp fits around a ~36 mm diameter foam-covered bar. The timer used has a chunky clamp which means the holder needs a lot of clearance to fit through. Consequently, it's a bit loose but won't fall out. VELCRO® and One-Wrap® are registered trademarks of Velcro BVBA. Print Settings Printer Brand: Creality Printer: Ender 3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 20 % Filament: eSun PLA+ n/a Notes: You probably don't need a raft, but you might want a brim to help with adhesion. You*definitely* need supports with this design, but check in your slicer before printing to ensure that there's no support in the channel for the cable tie. Any support here will be**really** hard to remove. For me, using Cura, I found that increasing the*Support X/Y Distance* slightly (from 0.7 to 1.0 mm) made the problem go away. See the bar clamp support image for details. Category: Sport & Outdoors
