ExDreeme V4 Rebel & Jedi Vertical Wall Mount for Lightsaber Designed for use with the Sabneo ™ V8 Neopixel Lightsaber (1 inch diameter blade) and incorporates my interpretations of the Rebel Alliance and Jedi crests from the Star Wars ™ Universe. Designed to be a functional mount and also a decorative piece when the saber is not mounted in the base. The Hilt Base mount can be used independently or together with the Upper Tether Ring to enhance the overall appearance of the wall mount. NOTE: This design may potentially work for sabers from other saber manufacturers with some minor alterations. **** Feb 19, 2023 UPDATE- REV A pieces added - major change to the whole lower hilt mount (thicker back plate) and the upper tether ring base plate (to match thickness change in hilt back plate). Assembly suggestions: Sanding and minor alterations may be required when joining parts due to tight tolerances. Assemble parts using CA glue or epoxy at connection/insertion points. Part D is intended to be pressure fit but could be impacted by printer settings and filament type resulting in the need for alternate method of securing in place. Recommend application of a small dab of clear silicone and then secured with tape until the silicone is cured – designed with a small screwdriver release slot on lower edge if the mount needs to me removed. Suggested finishing options: Finishing suggestions: use of plastic body filler and/or high build primer with sanding to create smooth surfaces; then application of high gloss White, off white or pearl white with gold or medium/darker blue accents on the raised relief areas of the Rebel and Jedi crests. Mount using #6 taper head screws with wall anchors – color match visible screw heads with paint. Note: Screw holes may need to be enlarged.
