ExDreeme V1 Sith Lightsaber hilt display with removable hologram emitter unit. ** ADVISORY- this is a new design that I have not yet printed. I will be updating files as needed. Feb 11, 2023 Designed for use with any lightsaber with a removable/detachable blade and incorporates my interpretation of the Sith™ crest from the Star Wars ™ Universe. Designed to be used a functional hilt display and as a decorative piece when the saber hilt is not being displayed. The hilt cradle arms are designed to accommodate a wide range of hilt diameters and the supporting rail mount slides can be configured to different positions based on hilt length and contours see last picture. The display unit has internal spaces to support the addition of LED lighting and electro-mechanical elements (eg. screw drive mechanisms, switches, solenoids, etc.) to enhance the overall appearance and functionality of the piece. Full scale printed length is approximately 39 cm (15.5 inches). Printing and assembly suggestions: Recommend printing the illuminator panels in a clear or transparent red filament (or desired color) to have the option for LED back-lighting effects. The same material could be used for the Sith crest to achieve the same effect. LED's with pulsing, rotating, or randomized colors would create a unique look, transforming the mount into a dynamic display piece. The upper plate also includes two small, raised screen display units that would be suitable for LED lighting/ buttons, or mesh screens. Hologram emitter body has been made hollow for optional LED lighting options. Sanding and minor alterations may be required when joining parts due to tight tolerances. Assemble parts using CA glue or epoxy at connection/insertion points. Suggested finishing options: Finishing suggestions: use of plastic body filler and/or high build primer with sanding to create smooth surfaces; high gloss black paint on the main body of the display with medium grey/silver on the deco frame and gloss red on the Sith crest. Installation of LED's for back-lighting effects. Hologram emitter body suggestions: paint with screen accurate colors and finishes; and weathering and defects as desired.
