ExDreeme V1 Jedi Lightsaber hilt display stand. Designed for use with virtually any lightsaber with a removable/detachable blade and incorporates my interpretation of the Jedi™ crest from the Star Wars ™ Universe as a design element. The stand can be used as a functional hilt display or as a decorative piece when the saber hilt is not being displayed. The hilt cradle arms are designed to accommodate a wide range of hilt lengths and diameters. The display unit has been designed with internal cavities to support the addition of LED lighting to enhance the overall appearance and functionality of the piece. Printing and assembly suggestions: Recommend printing the upper display middle panel and the decorative grate lens in a transparent colored filament of your choice to match your blade color or cut the pieces from clear acrylic sheet material for use of LEDs for back-lighting effects. The Jedi crest is free-floating and is glued to the middle upper plate after the 3 plates have been assembled together as a single unit. The crest will need to be carefully aligned in the opening using the alignment guide ring (WARNING- the guide ring will only center the medallion in the hole but does not align the actual orientation of the crest). Battery/lighting compartment cover to be secured in place with screws. Some parts connect via slide-lock joints (hilt cradle support arms). Sanding and minor alterations may be required when joining parts due to tight tolerances. Assemble parts using CA glue or epoxy at connection/insertion points. Suggested finishing options: Finishing suggestions: Use plastic body filler and/or high build primer with sanding to create smooth surfaces; high gloss or satin finish white paint on the main body of the display. Highlight Jedi quote lettering in black, dark grey, silver, gold or in a color of your choice.
