My Y-axis had an erratic drift along the X extrusion rail, due to inadequate eccentric nut tensioning, compounded by the fact that the opposing through-hole only offered limited assistance with a 5mm fastener. Therefore, I determined that a supplementary eccentric nut was necessary to provide greater precision and control.
