This is a model of a Voltage Controlled, Oven Compensated, Crystal Oscillator (VCOCXO) that has a frequency stability of +/- 1.5 Parts Per Billion (PPB). This is part of the Connor Winfield OX200 series and the OH200 series has a very similar case outline, but has a frequency stability of +/- 5 PPB.The accuracy of this oscillator is such that there are 1,500x more stable than a 1 Parts Per Million (PPM). To give context a standard crystal is typically about +/- 50 PPM, so this crystal is 50 * 1,500 = 75,000 times more accurate !!This is important for frequency responses that cannot tolerate inaccuracy for clocks and frequency control. It also means that for a Radio Frequency (RF) circuit better stability as well as accuracy.For low power RF circuits, this means that there is less wake up time for protocol resynchronization.The standard frequency is 10 MHz and ranges up to 100 MHz.
