Excavators are popular earthmoving vehicles. We have focused on the VOLVO EC 360 here. Use: Provides superior digging power and mobility, allows to perform a variety of functions, from digging trenches and breaking holes to lifting away waste and excavating mines. There are 6 types of excavators of which I have focused on the crawlers. They run on large two endless tracks and are often used in mining and heavy-duty construction jobs. These excavators use hydraulic power mechanisms to lift heavy debris and soil.Their chain wheel system allows them to slide down and scale hills with less risk, making them suitable for grading hilly areas and landscaping uneven terrain. While slower than other excavators, crawlers provide overall greater balance, flexibility, and stability.The parts of the excavator are: Bucket, Arm, Hydraulic Cylinder, Boom, rotating Cabin, and movebale Track Frame. I have done the work in Solidworks2016 but it includes the Parasolid files too so you may access it using other versions of the software and may 3D print it.
