Excavator Turntable Bearing
thingiverse
This is a custom turntable bearing I designed for a model excavator project. Since the community might find it useful, I've shared it here. This bearing assembly consists of four printable parts. To fully fill the bearing races, you'll need 79 balls or purchase/print the accompanying bearings file. The ball selection ensures gaps aren't too large in the races. In my design pictures, I only removed one mating surface from the CAD model so that the internal parts could be showcased clearly. There is also an updated version with smaller 5mm holes for attachment to other components. Notably, this upgraded version features double the thickness of the original for added structural strength. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .005 Infill: Max Notes: To achieve the best results, print with the bearing facing downwards and use ABS plastic. This design can also be printed with various other plastics or metals, yielding satisfactory outcomes.
With this file you will be able to print Excavator Turntable Bearing with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Excavator Turntable Bearing.
