I'm waiting for 4mm inner diameter hose to do the tests. I've got a clear picture of how everything fits together, thanks to the positioning of the parts shown in photo n°3 - the tray on my Tevo LM is a generous 35 cm across, giving me a solid sense of scale. If you're interested, I'll be happy to share more details with you. The screws holding things together are M3 x 30 mm, precision-cut using my trusty Dremel, while the joystick pivots rely on M4 fasteners. Two aluminum tubes, each measuring 8 mm in diameter and 15 cm long, provide additional support. I referenced my design off a BD Discard II 10ml syringe with a 17 mm diameter - it's a reliable model that's proven itself time and again.
