Excavator Bluetooth

Excavator Bluetooth

thingiverse

This project involves an excavator operated via Bluetooth, allowing for up to six channels of control. The creator will post more details on building and managing RC models soon, as the project is still a work in progress. It utilizes an Arduino Mini Pro with HC-05, programmed using a homemade Android app. Thanks go to Thingsiverse and the community for their contributions. Stay updated as more progress unfolds! The Arduino sketch is credited to "Luis Manuel Rodriguez Picarzo." Control of servo arms can be achieved via downloading the creator's app or designing your own using MIT App Inventor, although it may require dedication and study. The creator acknowledges being a hobbyist with no technical education, so this guide is designed for others in similar situations. To get started, you'll need an Arduino Mega, Uno, or other compatible board; an Arduino Mini Pro; HC-05 Bluetooth device; wire; LM317 semiconductor; 4x 1K resistors (or 3x 1K and 2K); a 220 Ohm and 47 Ohm resistor; and a prototype board or the creator's custom board. All components were purchased cheaply on eBay without issues. The tutorial will proceed step-by-step, with links provided to helpful YouTube videos for connectivity, powering servos, and uploading sketches without USB.
